About this image

Mercury imaged in reasonable seeing, several degrees higher in the sky than the previous image a week ago. From a total of nearly 200,000 captured video frames, about 1400 were selected in software and then by eye, prior to processing in Registax to yield the final image. The appearance of Mercury is very similar to that on 25th March 2017: diameter, central meridian and phase are nearly identical, and so are this image and my image from that date.
