About this image

Possibly the first image of Drechsler 27 from the UK! Taken from my sub-urban observatory in Bournemouth.

Very faint, but it's there, after just over 3 hours of light. Compared to Peter's excellent colour image, you can just make out the distinctive shape.

37 H-alpha subs of 5mins each, stacked with DeepSkyStacker and processed in Pixinsight.

The sky started clear but unfortunately clouded up around 01:30.
