About this image

Taken at the Autumn Kelling Heath Star Party, it was a little cloudy so most my shots were unusable but I think I still managed a passable image.

This is the first outing with my new Samyang 135mm f2 lens and it is working out quite well, this lens seems well matched to the larger objects in the night sky, I'm using it at f2 but it is designed for full frame cameras and I'm using a camera with an APS-c chip so any issues at the edges seem (to me) to not be present.

What I love about this set-up is how easy it is for someone to take a half decent image - I know they are not the best images that have been taken of M45 but for 10 minutes effort setting up and about an hour processing no one can say it was a waste of time.
