Sorry this is more aeronautical than astronomical.

While I was out at our local seafront photographing the sunset and the moon, one of the fairly regular Spitfire flights from our local airfield was coming into land and made this pleasing composition with the crescent moon and a contrail from a much more modern aircraft in the distance.
