About this image

This shows a contour plot of the first and still the strongest flare I have observed. The raw data has been wavelet filtered. Then the first 19 spectra taken before the flare were averaged and subtracted from all the spectra. This give leaves a good estimate of the light just from the flare. The flare was still subsiding when elevation constraints stopped the observations.
