About this image
Two drawings of Venus made last night.  There seemed to be a particularly dark streak stretching diagonally towards the south in IL.  This was also evident in the W47 filter, albeit more spread out.  Other points include:
  • Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete
  • Terminator: Geometrically regular
  • Cusp caps: south cusp cap quite bright in IL, present in W47 but not as bright.  North cusp cap not seen.
  • Cusp Collars: Southern collar quite prominent, northern collar not seen.
Best wishes and clear skies for 2020!
-Paul
