Venus in Ultra-Violet

About this image

Experience has shown that, with my equipment and in my location, I shouldn't expect to capture features on Venus until its altitude exceeds 30 degrees. However, a recent spell of high pressure and low turbulence allowed that rule to be broken. Markings were still extremely faint in Far and Near Infra Red but those in Ultra Violet were quite distinct.
