Three Planets in the Morning Sky

About this image

A view of the three outer naked eye planets taken from a bedroom window this morning - hand held but wedged in the corner of the window!

Mars is on the right near the roof with Jupiter bright and near central and Saturn a little lower on the left near the tree.

Mars is in conjunction with Jupiter on 20 March and Saturn on 31 March. Jupiter remains close to Saturn all year and passes through a very close conjunction on 21 December.
