About this image

A UV Venus image from yesterday evening. Conditions were trying, with regular cloud interruptions and generally poor seeing. This one imaging run turned out quite well considering. It shows the bright southern cusp cap once again and some vague cloud markings and bright limb concentrations. Visually, in integrated light, the phase seemed to me to be about 49% - certainly past dichotomy – but the sky was still bright at the time.
