About this image

A stack of 1500 frames from 10000. What caught my eye are the 3 curving rilles between Hippalus and Campanus. According to the Modern Moon by Charles Wood,  they are about 3 to 3.5km wide and were formed by the stretching of the crustal rocks as Humorum subsided under the weight of various lava flows which flooded it.
