Title

BepiColombo on its way to Venus

About this image

With all the excitement over the multiple fragments of C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) I almost forgot to get some astrometry of ESA's BepiColombo as it headed out 41.5 hours after its Earth flyby, These images were taken when the spacecraft was around 650,000 km away moving away at around 4.3 km/s. It had already faded to around mag 17. That's the last time it will fly past Earth. The next flyby is Venus on 2020 October 16.
