Title

Venus: 24th April

About this image
An observation of Venus I made yesterday evening in very good seeing (around AII) and the definition was also good.  I was immediately drawn to the cusp caps as the terminator didn't follow it's usual elliptical path- the terminator at the cusps seemed to to make a much shallower angle to the horizontal than usual.  Similar cloud features as previously.
Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete
Terminator: Geometrically regular- dark terminator shading seen, shallower angle towards the cusps.
Cusp Caps: Not particularly bright or striking this evening- both equal.  Cusp caps quite hard to see.
Best wishes,
-Paul
