About this image

Comet SWAN has brightened considerably in the last few days and now sports a long tail.  The diagonal Field of View of this image is about 2 1/2 degrees.  I'd guess that the tail extends for about twice that length.  There appears to have been some form of disconnection event in the last few hours, giving the kinked tail
