Observation by Alan Thomas: A Moonlit Night

My grandaughter, Leila (aged 11), painted this for me as a birthday present, knowing I am interested in Astronomy. A brilliant effort, I think. I have told her that she and her brother, Leo, could well be 'space tourists' one of these days on a visit to the Moon that she has painted so well . . . (and though I didn't say so, maybe even future members of the BAA!).
