Activity on Jupiter

About this image
Once more we had some good seeing, and the sky at the lower altitude was rather hazy.  My attention was immediately drawn to the dark feature not far from the fol. limb.  Initially I thought it might be an impact marking but as the seeing improved it was clear that it was just a dark festoon with a dark barge below it.  The NEB is rather turbulent with lots of interesting structure.  The EZ is also quite active with yellowish material along the equator.  Io can be seen near the prec. limb.
Unfortunately the planet passed behind the houses once more so I was unable to get a CM timing of the object.
