About this image

I have waited most of my life to see a naked eye comet of this beauty over the UK. After first observing the comet on the morning (04:00 UT) of the 11th July, my wife Jacquie and I both had cameras on tripods with 80-400mm lenses on Sunday morning. This shot was taken at 04:00 UT (03:00 BST). 16x2-second shots were taken and stacked in PixInsight to create this image. Wow!
