About this image

This image was captured as 3-images (each 24x600s light frames) on the 10th, 11th and 21st July 2020.

All calibration and processing carried out with PixInsight.

The Optolong L-eNhance filter separates the red Ha and blue/green Oiii filaments of this section of the Veil Nebula.

The image was under sampled by binning the camera 2x2 and using the 0.7x focal reducer for the 9.25 EdgeHd on nights of good seeing.  The images were dithered during capture.  The requirements were met to use drizzle integration in PixInsight to restore the full resolution of the system.

All pre-processing and processing including the mosaic integration was carried out using PixInsight.  Image capture controlled using SGP.
