Title

Mars IRGB in turbulent seeing, 19 August 2020

About this image

The nearby Pennines create almost constant air turbulence, and that was the case this morning (Antoniadi IV). This prevented me from capturing a routine RGB, so I cheated with an IRGB, which calmed things down a bit. I attach both the IRGB and the IR captures.

The use of IR, of course, makes the albedo markings rather more prominent than they are to the eye.
