About this image

Mars is well placed but still turbulent. One of the better sequences (Seeing Ant 2-3). Stacked with Autostakkert, wavlets in Registax5, then despeckled /stretched in CS2  with some desaturation applied. The area containing Olympus Mons is a faint circular region in the N hemisphere. (If im not mistaken).  South Polar cap is shown,  Eq diam 19" arc, and 93% phase

Correction: The area is Elysium, not Olympus Mons - Thanks to the Mars Mapper app:   https://britastro.org/node/23843
