About this image

Staying in the region of Cepheus and Cassiopeia, NGC 7380 is an open star cluster discovered by Caroline Herschel and is also known as sh2-142. It is a large nebula located in Cepheus.

This image was rendered using data captured across two nights using Chroma 1.25” 3nm narrowband filters in Ha, Oiii and Siii;

47 x 5 mins in Ha

48 x 5 mins in Oiii

47 x 5 mins in Sii

I am reasonably happy with it but there are a few blown out bright areas and I feel more data in Sii is needed so weather permitting I will be adding to it.
