About this image

At Declination -25 I had thought that this would be too low for me to capture over the walls of my observatory in Spain, but decided to give it a try. I'm delighted to say that I was wrong! I think this is such a handsome galaxy.

By coincidence I was imaging this area a couple of days ago, though in my case I was tracking down some globular clusters.

The galaxy is far too big to fit in a single frame. I now need to decide whether to take more images and make a mosaic or just upload what is already here.
