About this image

I've just fitted an off axis guider (details here https://youtu.be/_levplOFVio ) and this is the image I took to test it was all working.

I have to say that the OAG has been so easy to use and has made a difference to the overall guiding, I moved to an OAG after occasionally having great guiding stats but clearly trailed stars (suggesting flexure) so far (30hrs of use on a dozen objects)  I've not had a problem finding a guide star (always multiple available) and the guiding is better than what my 'good guiding' was like previously. So I'm really happy with the results. Soon I'll be removing the 1.5KG of guide scope and mount, hopefully this will make things easier for my overloaded mount.

Processed in Astro Pixel Processor

tweaked in Photoshop using my own Astronomy Actions (details here https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjl7f6zaYBiK7QVXa_nPG7HjniI2crxWD )

Clear Skies,

Simon.
