The nebula may be on its way back, as Mike Harlow and others have pointed out. Just above the star - at the 11 o'clock position - theres a faint column of brightness that wasn't there a few weeks ago. Interestingly, thats where it first reappeared after the 2008/9 fade.

I should have done some dithering and perhaps not chosen a nearly full Moon as the time to look at nebulosity. :)

Pixel size is 3 arc secs and lots of stars were saturated as the sky background clocked in as 40,000 counts.
