About this image

This is an attempt at a slightly different take on these familiar and bright nebulae by using a colour camera and a large number of short exposures (135x15seconds) so that I could stack and bring out some of the subtle colours usually lost in narrowband images as well as keeping the Trapezium stars clearly visible.  This was my last target of the night and finished close to 3am on a chilly early morning.
