About this image

This was the start of a personal 12 hour challenge in which I was able to capture images of all seven other planets. Seeing unfortunately wasn't good for the major planets. Conditions for Mercury and Venus were OK although I had to capture them both at a low angle over nearby roofs. Mercury was captured with an IR pass filter and then with a CH4 filter. Venus was captured in both of these and also in luminance with the colour camera for a colour image.
