Hi Steve,

I was lucky enough to see this fireball this morning.  I was walking out to the observatory to check imaging was going as planned. Observing from Ipswich, Suffolk the meteor was heading WSW in your direction!  It is probably just coincidence but it did appear to be coming from the direction of Leo so my first thought was that it was a (very) late Leonid.  Any more reports from NEMATODE to get an orbit?

Mike.

Hi Mike

I have seen a subsequent analysis of this event from UKMON and RMS observers that does indeed classify it as a Leonid
