Title

Jupiter and Saturn 19th Dec 2020 16.39UT

About this image

Jupiter and Saturn at 14.5' separation this evening at 16.39UT. Image rotated to match the correct naked eye orientation.

Not a composite and no separate processing of any individual part of the frame. Gamma 2.0 to try and balance up the brightness mismatch between Jupiter and Saturn.

Hopefully a warm-up for tomorrow, Monday or Tuesday's closer separation!

An image to be proud of.

Is there a touch of unsharp masking or something in there?
