About this image

This is a combination of one white light image using a Herschel wedge with two close-up images in H Alpha using a Quark Chromosphere to look at a nice-sized sunspot AR 2794 for Christmas Eve. The final image on the lower right shows an extended prominence that was visible at the same time through the Quark. All images through a 72mm ED refractor piggy-backed on my main scope.
