About this image

An image of Jupiter and Saturn a few days after closest conjunction taken with a bridge camera on a long focal length setting. All the Galilean moons of Jupiter are visible west of the planet - in order Io, Europa, Callisto and Ganymede. They were 8 degrees high and just about to disappear behind a tree.
