About this image

Mars is now less than 11 arc seconds in size as it is rapidly moving away from the Earth.  This is a de-rotated stack of colour luminance and IR pass data collected over a 19minute period.  Mars was at an average height above the horizon of around 46-47 degrees and seeing was relatively steady for a change.
