Mars in infrared and colour

About this image

Mars is now just 10.55 arc seconds across, although higher in our skies, approaching 50 degrees when these images were taken.   Seeing was relatively calm enabling me to get some detail.  The infrared image is a short stack of my two best video sequences.  The colour image is luminance and IR combined from a de-rotated stack covering 40minutes.
