Title

Time-lapse video of Mars and Uranus

About this image

Continuing the theme of making time-lapse videos with my Pi Gazing meteor cameras at the same sidereal time each night... I thought I would see whether I could pick out the motion of Uranus (mag 5.7) in the background-subtracted images from my meteor camera.

If you squint hard, it's just about there (although the video compression unfortunately doesn't help). It's up and to the left of Mars, tracking westward (rightwards) since it was in retrograde motion over the autumn.
