Total exposure time; Approx 9hrs of data with L-Pro; Subs of mainly 120sec & 180sec with a few 300sec & 600sec + Darks, Flats & Dark flats. Main Cam Gain 100, Camera T -10C

About this image

Imaged over four nights, 17th 21st 23rd Jan21 and 3rd Feb21.

Was trying to show the long tail of the “Hamburger” galaxy NGC 3628, could see it a bit but whilst processing to get the “black point” aesthetically pleasing the tail got lost – I will have to keep building on my data for this object.

This group of galaxies is approx 35 million Light yrs away, in constellation Leo.

 

Processing; Deep sky stacker, PixInsight with final tweaks in Photoshop and Topaz DeNoise.
