About this image

M82, a highly luminous edge on spiral starburst galaxy.  

M82 captured on the nights of 25th, 26th and 27th February 2021.  7-hours of integration were captured using the Optolong L-Pro luminance filter.  A further 4-hours were captured using the Optolong L-eNhance narrow band filter.  

All images were captured as 10-minute subs.

All calibration and processing with PixInsight.
