About this image

After Dr John Lightfoot's excellent talk on Hubble's Variable nebula at the Deep Sky meeting last weekend, I thought I would image Hubble's famous nebula before it sinks into the bright western sky of spring. Last night I took my own image too, but there is a gulf between an 20-inch scope in Australia and a 9.25-inch SCT in Northampton. But at least it was a clear sky for a change!
