About this image

I took 2 hours of images using my circa 1987 Super Polaris mount, no guiding, I had to throw 1.5 hours because of trailing. But the remaining 30 minutes were good to use.

A lovely wide field view of the Leo Triplet Paul. The Redcat certainly gives nice stars to the edges of the field.

Hi Callum, I’ve used different camera lenses including some very nice Canon L lenses and none of them stand up to the Redcat for astronomical imaging. I’ve been really impressed with that little scope.
