About this image

Asteroid Hercynia was of Mag. 14.1 when my rig picked it up in this 2hrs exposure from my backyard in Manchester.

I used first Aladin software to identify the coordinates of the nearest star to the Asteroid, then searched for it's name and details using minorplanetcenter.net. Lastly, downloaded the coordinates of the Asteroid in Stellarium to match the movement with my photos.
