About this image

An area that needs little introduction: Orion's Sword - stretching from north of NGC1973/75/77 (Sh2-279): The Running Man nebula, past De Mairan's Nebula, M43 and The Orion Nebula, M42 and just including IC428 (Bernes 120) and the Orion Streamers or "Waterfall" associated with Herbig-Haro 222.

To try to deal with the extreme variation in brightness across the field, I used an HDR Composition approach in imaging (combining exposures rangin from 6 sec in L, through 30 and 120sec up to 600sec).

Data was captured during Jan 2021 from E_EYE.
