The International Space Station was predicted to pass close to Betelegeuse from my location. This shows the track of the ISS just to the south of the star.

Great shot! I remember setting up in a farm gateway to catch an ISS transit of Jupiter back in 2004.  Do you know if there any recorded stellar occultations by artificial satellites ?
