SH2-174 - is it a planetary nebula or not - seems there is some disagreement as it doesn't conform to the standard model?
it's a large but very faint nebulous region and the northern most Sharpless object located near to Polaris.
A challenging target with a 50% moon to boot
I managed to iron out my guiding issues and had my best guiding session to date - Seems that the IOptron Smart EQ Pro+ mount works best when the guide rate is set close to 1 x sidereal (0.9 in my case) - first time my total error was below .2 - so was a bonus on this occasion.
This nebula is very faint but it's there - shooting North is a nightmare as I've got ALL of London's light to contend with
