About this image

A crop of a test image trialling the Samyang 135mm lens coupled to an astrocamera.  Makarian's Chain can be seen in the lower middle of the image. Hoping to get to darker skies at some point this year and this makes a very portable setup for the larger nebulae.  Had some tilt in the full image as the lens is heavy and needs support but it was quite minor so happy with this.  Moon was bright as well when shooting.  Still working on minimising walking noise with the SkyGuider Pro which can dither in RA only.

Hi Callum,

I like a wide shot with many galaxies.

I support my Samyang 135mm with a https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07DVKZBXG It's just a little too big so needs packing with tape but it seems firm.
