About this image

This object just scrapes along my southern horizon for a short period every night. Was pleased to get so much data in just 13 minutes. Should revisit sometime, perhaps well before the sky starts getting bright for the dawn. Threw away lots of frames where the sky background count was creeping up.

This is from the images pre-meridian flip, the images afterward were really blobby. Note to self: always refocus after a meridian flip - especially with a guidescope that has a duff focuser. I should know it by rote already but at 02:00 I'm not my sparkling best.
