This sketch combines a telescopic observation with elements of an oblique view of Theophilus from NASA Lunar Orbiter 3. I wanted to give myself a ‘realisation’ view of what it might be like standing on the rim of the crater, I’m not sure to what extent I have succeeded, but it was a first attempt.
