About this image

M81 and M82 in Ursa Major - here a wide field view including the Integrated Flux Nebulae that pervade the northern reaches of the sky - MW3 (Mandel-Wilson 3 - the "Volcano" nebula) is the yellowish patch to the right hand edge (north) of the field.

I've added in H-Alpha data to enhance the chimneys of M82, the star forming regions of M81, and I've *just* got the cap of M82 (though it's right on the limit given the instrumental constraints - should have binned x2....)
