About this image

I wanted to get some details in the dust lanes and highlight the HII regions in the spiral arms. Hence the use of longer exposures of 240 seconds with a Light Pollution Filter. I was particularly pleased with details in the core of the galaxy but have clearly oversaturated the red HII areas. Always something more to learn :-)

I dont think over-saturataton detracts, in fact an image in Ha only would be quite interesting.
