About this image

I couldn't resist trying to capture the brilliant Venus in the build up to storm Arwen. Venus glittered brilliantly as an evening star, hanging in a deep blue sky, but thick clouds were coming in from the north and had already obscured Jupiter and Saturn.

It was a spontaneous image which reminded me 1, always take a torch 2, pack your reading glasses 3, try to avoid photographing stuff from a busy road 4, try really hard to avoid standing in the 6" deep puddle you cannot see because you forgot a torch.

I'm impressed with both the spontanaity and the knowledge of Tolkein!

I first read it at 12 and its not worn off yet.

So, nerd, guilty as charged. :)
