About this image
It's Bortle 3 in Tamda village at the foot of the Atlas mountains in southern Morocco. I was hosted by family I met for the first time who provided everything and allowed me to use their rooftop to setup my telescope.

Excellent image, Mazin. From what sounds like a fantastic location!
Lovely image. Will you still be there on Friday morning? I'll be looking for an image of the comet and M3 for Sky Notes on Saturday. Also, if you have a camera with a fast telephoto lens it would be worth some exposures in a dark sky to see how long that tail is.
Great Image with a number of Galaxies in view as a bonus. What mount were you able to use at this distant site?
Hi David, it is indeed, and most villages in Morocco switch off street lights after 9 or 10pm to save energy, what a beautiful idea ;)
Hi Neil, I have iOptron Cem40 which is relatively portable in flights, though I leave the tripod and weights here with friends to travel lighter.
Hi Nick, yes I will be here on Friday, though unfortunately don't have with me a fast telephoto, I will image it with the Esprite 100ED
