About this image

I'd hoped to capture A1 Leonard with a Newtonian set up for the purpose but cloud moved in around 3:50am before the comet was high enough for my other mount.  Luckily it just cleared the wall of my observatory but I didn't have time to change the kit over, which had been set up for observing potential asteroid occultations last night.  As a result I still had the f/3.3 reducer on the scope but no filter.   It was interesting to see what could be captured with just a series of unguided 5 second exposures.
