About this image

A view of the fairly thin crescent Venus taken by eyepiece projection with an iPhone. Sorry for my primitive equipment! Venus is currently quite well placed as it approaches inferior conjunction, and because Earth is near perihelion Venus will be almost as close as it can be. It also passes a little north of the Sun at inferior conjunction, making following Venus a little easier.
