I do like an open star cluster. Presented here is Messier 44 located in the constellation Cancer.

William Optics Z103 APO refractor.

ZWO ASI1600mm Pro Cool camera.

SkyWatcher EQ6R-Pro mount.

Chroma 1.25” RGB filters.

Data

Exposure time per sub frame was 2 minutes.

Gain 120, Offset 30, camera sensor temperature -10c

Sub frames (R:G:B) were 95:79:95.

Software

Sequence Generator Pro for data acquisition.

PHD2 for guiding.

PixInsight used for processing.
